Loan Schemes

Objective

To encourage self-employment among unemployed youth in the Union Territory of Puducherry

This organisation is implementing two schemes which provide loan through banks for setting up of manufacturing, service or business enterprises. Subsidy is extended under these schemes as an incentive to give confidence to the otherwise first time entrepreneurs

PMEGP is a Centrally Sponsored Scheme while the second is a State Sponsored Scheme encouraging mainly manufacturing and service activities
