Development of Khadi & Village Industries
Objective of the scheme:

To promote and to develop the Khadi & Village Industries, programme/ activities with a view to create rural employment. Under the scheme financial assistance is given in the form of Grant-in-aid as administrative grant to meet recurring and non recurring expenditure of the Board, the Board is doing the following functions:-

 i)  To start and run Khadi & Village Industries.    

 ii)  To encourage and assist in setting up of  Khadi & Village Industries, by providing of training   and granting of loans/subsidy to the Village people.

 iii)  Marketing of Khadi & Village Industries products through its show rooms/Bandhars.

 iv) To provide sales rebate for Khadi products at the rates prescribed by the Government or the KVIC
